08/10/07 Handicap Final Results are up: Handicap Winners as well as Pictures from the Day Junior Open results will be updated ASAP
06/10/07 The Handicap Finals are this weekend!! Starting at 12pm on Sunday 7th October! Come down and enjoy a fantastic day of tennis!
30/09/07 Broadstairs 1st Pair reach the Final of the East Kent Championships!
Group One Group Two Broadstairs First Pair Broadstairs Second Pair Margate First Pair Margate Second Pair Herne Bay First Pair Walmer First Pair Faversham First Pair Walmer Second Pair
In the group stage Jonathan Smith and Gavin Webb were unbeaten beating Brian Mileham and Stevie Mayor 7-6, (7-5 in tie break) to top their group. This meant they had to play the runner up of Group Two which was John Stansfield and Robert Bolt (Broadstairs Second Pair!) Smith and Webb beat their team mates 6-1 with Brian Mileham and Stevie Mayor beating Neil Lynch and Guy Hall 6-2 in the other Semi.. The Final would therefore be Smith and Webb (Broadstairs 1st's) against Brian Mileham and Stevie Mayor (Margate 1st's). Mileham and Mayor won 6-1, 6-1. The final finished of a great day of tennis with some long rallies and fantastic tennis by both sides however the score doesn't reflect how well Broadstairs 1st Pair played.

7/09/07 The East Kent Championships take place at Margate Tennis club from 10am on Sunday 30th September 2007! East Kent Championships involve the top 2 pairs from each club in East Kent!
Representing Broadstairs and St Peters are: Jonathan Smith & Gavin Webb Robert Bolt and John Stansfield
All members feel free to pop down to Margate after 10am to cheer on the guys! It should be a great event with lots of top quality tennis!

TENNIS BALLS WANTED!
There has been an unfortunate depletion of the Tennis Balls which the Coaches
use for coaching Juniors; so, if you have any oldish balls lying around it
would be much appreciated if you would donate them to the baskets in the
Clubhouse.
Andy and Scott and many Juniors will be most grateful.

2/09/07 Congratulations to the Men's 1st Team for winning their Kent Divisional Final on 2nd Sept 2007. Broadstairs I 3 - 1 Beckenham III The team gain promotion next summer!
